Civil Society Development: The development and management of non-governmental organizations and the role of civil society in social change and conflict.

  • Albania Facilitation: ACT designed and delivered a two-day training workshop for 5 leaders of Albanian nongovernmental organizations in Facilitation Skills for The Carter Center in 2002.

  • Macedonia workshops: In 2003, ACT designed and delivered two workshops for Macedonian educators and civil society leaders in cooperation with the Institute for Sustainable Communities Macedonia.

  • Stakeholder Analysis & Negotiation Training - International Rescue Committee: Croatia, 2003. Dr. Nike Carstarphen from ACT conducted a two-day stakeholder and negotiation training for the International Rescue Committee in Dubrovnik Croatia. The training was part of a longer five-day training that IRC organized for their 25 of their senior field staff working in 15 different conflict zones around the world. (Read more...)
